Aviation School in Miami
Aeroservice Flight Training, a premier aviation school in Miami specializing in FAA commercial pilot training, we comply with all U.S. Department of Homeland Security regulations. These regulations require international students enrolling in aviation programs to hold an M-1 student visa. Our flight school is SEVIS-certified to issue the I-20 form, which verifies each applicant’s eligibility to study in our program.
The M-1 visa is designed for those pursuing an aviation career, with or without prior experience, allowing students to enroll in single or multiple aviation courses. This visa covers the time necessary to complete studies and can be extended to support additional training needed to complete professional aviation certification.
While M-1 students are not eligible for Optional Practical Training (OPT), they can apply for a work authorization in their specific field of study for up to six months, as permitted under M-1 visa requirements.
